Etc. Q. What size is the plastic retainer case that is included with the Retain-It(TM)? A. The approximate dimensions are 2.5" x 2.25" x .75". Q. Can the plastic retainer case that is included with the Retain-It(TM) be removed and washed? A. Absolutely! Not a problem at all to remove the case. Q. Is it possible to use other plastic boxes inside of the Retain-It(TM) instead of the one that comes with it? A. Absolutely! The Retain-It(TM) is designed to hold other boxes safely inside, just like the one that comes with it. Q. Why would I want to replace the plastic box that comes with the Retain-It(TM)? A. There are a few reasons: The box could eventually break. You might have a dental/oral appliance that is slightly smaller or slightly larger and prefer a different sized box. In the case of some clear aligners, these may come with a box that is slightly smaller/slimmer and you may prefer that one. Q. Why then does the Retain-It(TM) come with a box? A. Retain-It(TM) comes with one of the most common sized boxes in the industry. We chose to provide a box so that the product can be used right away. Q. Can the Retain-It(TM) be washed? A. Yes it can. Please remove the carabiner from the product, as this is metal, and then we recommend hand washing in cold water.
