How to use:
Preparing your lancing device
Un-screw the depth setting cap from the lancing device.
Insert a lancet into the holding chamber, push the lancet until it is firmly placed inside the holding chamber Now twist of the top (making sure you keep this for disposal purposes)
Screw the depth cap back on to the lancing device
Personalize the penetration depth, 1 being the shortest depth and 5 being the longest depth
Pull out the dark grey end of the lancing device until you hear a click, your lancing device is now armed
Lancing fingertips
Prior to sampling blood, wash your hands with soap and warm water making sure they are completely dry before lancing you finger, or use an alcohol Prep pad.
Puncture your finger. Press the lancing device firmly against the side of your fingertip to be lanced. Press the release button on the side of the lancing device. Remove the lancing device from your finger
A small round drop of blood should now appear.
Removing and disposing of the used lancet
Remove the depth cap exposing the lancet tip. With the lancet still in the lancing device push the tip of the lancet into the twist top cap removed earlier and then with the sliding ejector, eject the lancet and dispose of it according to local regulations.
Use precautions:
Never share a lancet or lancing device with another person.
Make sure to wash the puncture site with soap and warm water before sampling.
Keep your lancing device clean. Wipe down your lancing device after use with an alcohol prep pad to help prevent it from not working correctly.
