1.Remove the old or broken mailbox latches. Rid the mounting holes of dirt or debris from the broken/deteriorated latches.
2.Check if the mailbox¡¯s mounting holes align with the new latches¡¯ posts.
3.Install the door latch first. Insert it through the 2 holes on the mailbox¡¯s door. Secure the latch from the back of the mailbox door with the latch clip. Slide the latch clip onto the door latch¡¯s posts until it securely snaps into place.
4.Repeat Step 3 with the top latch.
5.Check the door latch and top latch¡¯s alignment. Adjust as needed.
