Gasket Maker High-Temp RTV Silicone A high performance silicone sealant called Kraken Bond Gasket Maker was created for sealing, joining, and mending tasks where heat resistance is necessary. For high temperature building applications, it is the perfect sealer. A resilient, elastic silicone is created when it reacts with ambient moisture. High temperature silicone is often used in cars due to their adaptability for hot engines. This kind of silicone is used in a variety of products, including valve covers, axle housings, timing chain covers, fuel pump covers, and solenoid covers. Silicone gasket sealer is widely used in locations where the joint or connection is exposed to great heat. This group includes forced induction system engine gaskets. 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 ✔️ Ensure that surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry and grease-free. ✔️The application temperature must be between +41°F and +104°F. ✔️In order to reduce the deformations of the joints, their depth must be much less than their width, minimum dimensions are 0.19X 0.19 in, for wider joints the depth should be preferably half of the width and it is adjusted by the use of backup material. ✔️After the application, the sealant must be tooled with light pressure within 5 minutes to spread the material against the joint surfaces and to obtain a professional finish. ✔️Excess uncured sealant may be cleaned with solvent. Cured sealant can be removed barely mechanically.
