This was an easy buy for me. I wanted to get a new corkscrew because the one i bought recently broke after 2 uses. I knew getting a wing corkscrew was the way to go. But Target sold one for $18.99.... way over priced. I came upon JXS 's reasonable price and said SOLD. If you are a prime member, this is a no brainer... complete you kitchen with a proper corkscrew. There is nothing worse than having a great bottle you can't open due to defective openers.

For years I was using one of the little corckscrews that you take out of the sheath, turn by hand, and then yank out of the bottle, but after using this I'm not going back. My upper body strength game is weak, and there's nothing quite as frustrating as trying to get wine (or in my case it was especially tasty beer) out of a bottle and being thwarted by a stubborn cork. Never again! This item seems to be made well and makes sure I get my fun asap. Love it.

I love this. I was struggling with wine bottle opening and had to actually take one bottle to a neighbor for help. NO MORE! This works so well and is so easy to use and I am now the proud owner of three because I keep misplacing them!!! I had one years ago and it was sturdier, but this one is working fine, soooooo why worry!
