Can be hand operated by use of wrenches. Great for light cut, repair work, or simply for enlarging holes. Always keep reamers clean, and used with machine oil for long service use. Cut and remove the thin layer metal on hole surface that has been processed, mainly to improve the precision of holes and reduce the surface roughness.Used for semi-finish machining and finish machining of holes.
Reamers are with 4 or more cutter teeth. Finished product can be smooth, intact and more beautiful. Reamers can be used to process holes in small cuts based on guiding function, such as: holes with diameter tolerance in ≤IT8; holes with requirements in surface roughness (≤Rz12 generally); holes with requirements in roundness tolerance; holes with requirements in cylindricity; stepped holes (different diameter holes on the same axis); series holes (diameter holes on the same axis) with requirements in high coaxality.
