2.What are they made from?
Combination of PBAT and PLA. Our bags are not made of plastic. 

3. Are they completely clear? 
No, these bags are not completely transparent but they are highly translucent that make sure you are able to see what is in each bag. Barcode can be scanned through the bag. 

4. Are they waterproof?
Yes, all bags are durable and waterproof for the ultimate protection. However, in order to be home-compostable certified, they can’t be made as thick as some plastic ones, so if your products have sharp edges that could potentially damage the bags, it'd be best to start with the smallest pack size to see if they are a good fit.

5. How do we compost or get rid of them?
To compost at home, remove any labels, cut them up and place them in your compost bin. They will completely break down within 120 days.
They will still break down in landfills but it would take 2 years instead. (Plastic poly bags take 400 years or more!)

6. How long can we keep them for?
These are designed to break down within a reasonable time. (Shelf life: 9-12 months when kept in cool and dry conditions, out of direct sunlight.) This should be considered when doing bulk order, we recommend getting quantities sufficient for 6 months.
