Manuka Honey Gauze Dressing is a permeable non-adherent primary dressing with active Manuka honey. The dressing consists of Manuka Honey impregnated into the open mesh tulle gauze.
Indications
Manuka honey gauze dressing is suitable for covering damaged wounds on the body surface, such as diabetic foot, burns, pressure sores and venous ulcers. It can provide a moist environment for wound healing.
Usage information
Skin preparation (clean the wound using standard methods)
a) Clean the wound and surrounding environment with saline
b) Dry dressing for the skin around the wound
Application
Place the manuka honey gauze dressing directly on the wound, each side facing down. For larger wounds, you can place multiple dressings side by side, while for smaller wounds, you can use clean, sharp scissors to cut the honey dressing to a certain size. The honey gauze dressing may spread to cover larger wounds, but since this reduces the concentration of honey, it also reduces the efficiency of the product. Cover the honey gauze dressing with the second dressing of your choice.
