Although this fly travels in the water upside down, the weed guard and calf tail keeps the pesky turtle grass off the hook. If you don’t need the weed guard, simply trim the monofilament back near the eye. As the fly hits the water softly due to it's bead eyes and low profile, you are now in position to catch that tailing Bonefish . This may be the perfect fly for fishing the flats. This fly does well with all shrimp/glass minnow eating flats species including the ever elusive Permit.
