- Our Nostalgic White Box holds one pound of Chocolate Caramel Pecan Turtles. Each turtle is made by hand, is larger and thicker than most turtles and therefore varies in size and weight. There are 12 to 16 turtles per pound. We thermal-seal in the freshness. Each box contains 2 half pound plastic bags filled with fresh Chocolate Caramel Turtles. If you order more than one pound, you will receive multiple one pound boxes.

When we make the turtles, we let the caramel sit on top of the pecans just long enough to form a shell, holding the pecans together so each pecan adorned shell can be dipped in chocolate. After the shell is dipped, it becomes a Chocolate Covered Caramel Pecan Turtle. Each Turtle is left alone just long enough so that the chocolate sets before the Turtles are placed in your bag. Now if you were here in Mantorville, we would place the Turtles in a white paper bag, but because it will be a few days before you receive them, we thermal seal your Turtles in a special plastic bag. (The bag captures the aroma of the chocolate and keeps the turtles fresh.) We then place your Chocolate Covered Caramel Pecan Turtles in a sturdy white box which is then put in a brown shipping box to assure they travel with first class accommodations to the destination of your choice.
