For Hair: Mix 25g of Ancient Sunrise Amla powder per 100g of Ancient Sunrise henna powder or Ancient Sunrise cassia powder, then stir in enough filtered or distilled water until the paste is the desired consistency. Ancient Sunrise Amla is powdered dried gooseberry and high in Vitamin C. Amla can help henna and indigo paste dye your hair a cooler brunette. The Amla gooseberry powder helps strengthen hair. It will also lift natural curl. Henna and cassia will dye your hair most effectively when mixed with a mildly acidic liquid or you can add Ancient Sunrise Amla. Amla powder made into a paste is also an excellent exfoliating and cleansing scrub for your face. It does not contain alcohol or chemicals. Amla has high levels of vitamin C and bits of amla seed, which gently exfoliate the skin. DIY Facial: Mix a spoonful of amla powder and enough cool water to make a paste about the consistency of yogurt. Let that sit for 15 minutes. Scrub your skin with the paste, and wash the paste off after a minute. Several of our clients have used Ancient Sunrise Amla daily on their skin to reduce the frequency of outbreaks.
