6 Pieces Electret Microphone Amplifier Module MAX4466 Adjustable Gain Blue Breakout Board
- Application: MAX4466 microphone breakout is suitable for voice converters, audio recording and sampling, and audio response projects using FFT; On the back, there is a small trimmer pot to adjust the gain; You can set the gain from 25x to 125x
- Parameters: power supply voltage: +2.4V to +5.5V (can be compatible with STM, Raspberry Pi and other development board motherboards); Power supply rejection ratio: 112dB; Common mode rejection ratio: 126dB; AVOL: 125dB (RL = 100kΩ) rail-to-rail output; Quiescent power supply current: <24μA; Gain bandwidth: 600kHz
- 20-20KHz electret microphone soldered on: comes with a 20-20KHz electret microphone soldered on the board for audio-reactive projects; It is recommended to use the FFT driver library, which can take audio input and 'translate' it into frequencies
- Easy to use: connect GND to ground, VCC to 2.4-5VDC; For the good performance, use the 'quietest' supply available (this would be the 3.3V supply)
- Power supply noise rejection function: the amplifier has good power supply noise rejection
- Manufacturer: Weewooday
- Model Number: Weewooday-Microphone Amplifier-01
- Part Number: Weewooday-Microphone Amplifier-01
6 Pieces electret microphone amplifier module MAX4466 adjustable gain blue breakout board
Features:
The MAX4466 is a micropower operational amplifier optimized for use as a microphone preamplifier. It is a nice combination of optimized gain bandwidth products and supply current, as well as low voltage operation in an ultra-small package.
The MAX4466 has gain stability, requiring only 24μA of supply current to provide a 200kHz gain bandwidth. After decompression, a minimum stable gain of +5V/V can be achieved, and a 600kHz gain bandwidth product is provided.
These amplifiers also have rail-to-rail output, high AVOL, and good power supply rejection and common-mode rejection ratio, suitable for working in noisy situations.
Widely applied in cellular phones, digital repeaters, earphones, hearing aids, microphone preamplifiers, portable computers, and voice recognition systems.
How to use:
Connect GND to ground, VCC to 2.4 - 5VDC.
The audio waveform will come out of the OUT pin. The output will have a DC bias of VCC/2, so when it's quiet, the voltage will be a steady VCC/2 volts (it is DC coupled).
If the audio device requires AC-coupled audio, please place a 100uF capacitor between the output pin and the input of the device.
If you're connecting to an audio amplifier that has differential inputs or includes decoupling capacitors, the 100uF cap is not required.
The output pin is not designed to drive speakers, but to drive the smallest in-ear headphones. You need an audio amplifier (such as a 3.7W stereo amplifier).
If you want to connect the amplifier directly to the speakers or it is connected to a microcontroller pin, no amplifier or decoupling capacitor is needed to connect the OUT pin directly to the microcontroller ADC pin.
For audio-reactive projects, it is recommended to use the FFT driver library, which can take audio input and 'translate' it into frequencies.
