Case Studies:
FIRST: these are 100% for Fast Feeds. If your ceramic blade doesn't fit, feels loose, wiggles/vibrates in use, or breaks due to any of those problems, there is a near certainty that you lost the little plastic adapter strip that seats into the groove in the blade & connects the blade to the Fast Feed's motor. If you lose, or otherwise don't properly seat that plastic strip on the motor's arm & the blade's groove, NO blade will work properly.
Also, the large metal top blade of the Fast Feeds (and most trimmers for that matter) can be tricky to perfectly align. This isn't noticeable when using the metal bottom blades, since they are shorter than the ceramics and you won't notice 1 side of your trimmer being 1-2mm higher than the other, but when zerogapping the ceramic blade, this tiny variation can be HUGE. What I do is install the ceramic bottom blade with the metal top blade, just finger tightening the screws
